If you were using the old versions of puriTEXT 1.0x or 1.1x, the new puriTEXT 1.2 may not accept some files or folders when you have dropped them on the application icon.
If your new puriTEXT has this problem, please update your system’s Desktop database by the following ways. Otherwise with no problems, you need not do nothing here.
How to update the Desktop databases
Please apply one or more of those methods to your system’s Desktop database in which volume the old puriTEXT was residing once.
(1) Throw away the old puriTEXT in trash, and then copy to install the new puriTEXT.
(2) Update the Desktop database by Lawrence D’Oliveiro’s “Fix Icons” application program by the new puriTEXT. You may need to restart your computer.
(3) Update the Desktop database by Michael S. Engber’s “Save a BNDL” application program by the new puriTEXT. You may need to restart your computer.
(4) If any of these methods were in vain, please try the final attack. Rebuild the Desktop database by holding command-option key while your computer starts up.
